"...The proposal currently states that those who are eligible for the settlement could be paid up to $400 for their faulty device, while those who received a Pixel XL in a prior warranty exchange program would only be eligible for up to $10. Those who submit proper documentation for the bug will receive the most settlement money, while those without may be eligible for up to $75. For full details on submitting a claim, check out the as-filed longform [scribd.com] notice document, which explains the process that will go into effect following court approval. ..."

As owner of two 6ps with one that bootlooped, I want the time back that I spent heating the phone up with a hair dryer trying to get it out of the bootloop.

Just curious, what happens when in boot loop, this phone becomes a brick? And completely useless?

This is for bootloop and battery issues. I'm in! But how the heck are you supposed to provide proof of the issue to obtain the full amount?

This was a great phone when it worked. That period didn't last very long. Signed up for the lawsuit. Also vowed to never purchase another Huawei product again after that fiasco. I think this whole thing is what killed the Nexus program and made Google bring its phone inhouse.

This is long overdue. We already got our $425 from a bad 5x. Unfortunately I ditched the 6p on Google as a trade in but at least I have evidence of a battery replacement on my dime that should get me a couple bucks. Google was very foolish to get in bed with a terrible company like Huawei and I hope this teaches them something.

Phone will not get to the OS where you can get your files...it just goes back to the boot screen over and over.

Just printed both of my RMA receipts and shipment emails in regards to my run with the Nexus 6P. I had experienced both battery and bootloop issues but since they will be requiring supporting documents I am unsure how to prove that that was the case.
