I have a couple of different models of these. One is under about 70lbs of cast iron. They seem to do well. I caught all of mine on sale, otherwise they are pricey.

Good deals.

Found this on Amazon when searching for the Rack It Up brand, https://www.amazon.com/Rack-MPB-06-GY-Bookshelf-Medium/dp/B001ASP3DU/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=RackUp&qid=... [amazon.com] It's at a nice low point in pricing and less than half than HD's price.

Can anyone help point me to any design suggestions/advice on use/placement of these? I have a small space but lots of pots/pans. Like the stainless steel the best but could only fit it slightly outside my kitchen. Thanks in advance.

I have mine high upon the wall. Plus my wall had a notch where it is offset some.

I have a half-moon (actually, more like a quarter-sphere) one above my sink on the soffit. Added advantage of being able to hang them after washing and let them drip into the sink.

Does anyone have any experience drilling through backsplash tile to mount something like this? Sounds like it can be tricky based on some Google searching and no idea what is a decent drill bit to get for it. My tile is glazed ceramic and fairly thick as well.

Do you mean a ceramic/porcelain/etc. tile backsplash?

I would try to avoid the tile if at all possible and try to go through the grout lines. If you get lucky and can find them, you might be able to line up with studs behind and use wood screws (once you make a hole in the backsplash).

Otherwise, maybe a toggle bolt, if you hit the void between studs.
