We will have a baby soon. Completly new to this. Can some one please help me pick a infant car seat and stroller?

I just bought the "Graco Recline N' Ride 3-in-1 Car Seat (Alpine) $140.89". It came out $152.51 after Tax.
Thanks.

Congratulation on your "no interest" investment. Kids are extremely cute until they talk back.

For the stroller / car seat, to me, it's kinda personal reference. Here are the questions to start with:

- Do you travel a lot?
- What type of vehicle do you have?
- Are you gonna jog / run with the baby?
- How much weight can you or your spouse lift?
- Do you care about the brand / look?

What's a good stroller + car seat combo for an infant?
Chico keyfit is the best carrier in my opinion. It also has universal attachments for a lot of different strollers.

Graco is like the "Apple" of baby products. They have a lot of proprietary stuff that only works on their own products.

Thanks for all the recommendations on stroller/infant carrier. We'll try to look for an Uppababy or the Chicco. Will probably try to buy them used.

The keyfit from Chico is an amazing car seat. We bought the travel system but then ended up buying a used vista and adapter.

But the keyfit was such a good car seat especially for the price.

The fast action is absolutely garbage. My kid is 15 months and we rarely used it (is our car stroller and we don't drive that much). The stroller is barely drivable, very hard to make turns and It is unbelievable heavy. I would not recommend at all. And it was cheaper than this at amazon.
My wife told me the same thing about that stroller. So I took a look at it and the tires were not fully inflated. I added a little bit of air and it worked much better.

The Chico Bravo system is the way to go until they reach weight or length to move up. Comes with the Keyfit 30 car seat and base. So, so easy to use and we really like the stroller and it's good past the infant stage. After that the Graco 4ever convertible is awesome.

uppababy is great. we have a cruz and love it.

their customer service is awesome too. that's one reason to buy new. I've had the wheels replaced 3 times for the front and once in the back with their 3 yr warranty when you register.

we live in NYC and walk a lot, so the tires always ended up cracked and worn.
