Plumber here. Don't buy this. In fact, don't buy any faucet that ONLY sells at Walmart, Lowes or HomeDepot. I'm not saying buy a Grohe or a Rohl $200 faucet, but at this pricepoint there can't be any substance to this thing. The cost of putting this in (even if it's your own time) is worth far more than the faucet. Even in LCoL areas. Especially if it leaks for a little while before you notice.

Don't touch Glacier Bay or Pegasus while we're at it. Or Price Pfister. Or whatever brands they have in those stores now. I'd encourage to be weary even of the products they sell from reputable manufacturers as well, but less so.

This isn't a controversial opinion. I'm not pushing towards any one product. Anyone with knowledge of the industry will agree.
I'm in Plumbing distribution, I couldn't agree more... these retail fixtures are junky. Lucky if they aren't leaking within a year. Worse part is they're so cheap it's not even worth trying to fix them, just replacing completely.

So what would you recommend for a kitchen and bathroom faucet?
Order from Ferguson, or any plumbing supply shop in your area. Even if you find a Delta or Kohler faucet at a big box store with the same name as what's at the supply shop, the internal components are cheaper. Volume isn't the only way the big box stores compete on price.

Not all of the big box stores faucets are junk. I've bought many faucets from the big box stores and have been satisfied, even with the "only at Lowe's" ones. Peerless is owned by Price Pfister, correct? Delta, Moen and PF all have lifetime warranties and from my experience are excellent about sending replacement parts without even showing proof of ownership. Yes, I agree that the store branded faucets (Aqua Source comes to mind) seem to be of poor quality.

Bought a 10 off 50 off ebay and got 2 of these for 48 dollars shipped plus tax.

Chase Freedom cardholders also get 5% back on home improvement stores this quarter too. Extra slick!

If you need a 10 off 50 pm me. I'll let one go for a dollar!

This is the truth. We bought a peerless kitchen faucet years ago. Started having issues a few months later. The soap pump stopped working. They sent a new one. Then the handle got loose and couldn't be tightened. They sent a new one. Then the base cracked AND the new handle loosened. They sent a whole new faucet.
It's not like it was dirt cheap, but my builder grade faucet worked so much better.
Avoid Peerless! Their customer service is great but do you really want to constantly replace parts?

Moes can be foind instore at Lowes for about $35. dont be fooled. this is like buying a Panasonic Tv today.

Brand names mean NOTHING when production gets outsourced. sure Moen will guarantee that plastic fixture forever, but thats because it only costs them $1.25 to send you a replacement, meanwhile youre out $10,000 for the flooded bathroom and the garage below.

Dont be an idiot. you spent HOW MUCH on buying that old ass house?

Divide it by square footage, and you paid about $40,000 for your bathroom.

What compelled you to replace it with a $35 fixture?
Complete over-exaggeration.

i am a bathroom designer (for the largest construction company in the USA, you can figure that one out)
And I agree 100% with the man above.

people go to lowes and see OOH fixtures are $20, a vanity is $100 and tile 1$/sq ft!!! lets build a bathroom!

first: Thats why your bathroom lasts 4 years and looks like dog sh+t.

Second: the labor costs to install these things are 5x those prices. If you give any of this crap to a contractor, he will laugh at you and WALK AWAY, because all you care about is cheap.

Now, im a slickdealer at heart, and id buy a car on here if i could, but those who cheap out on bathroom and kitchen products, but then COMPLAIN that its too expensive to have a professional do it, you deserve what you get.

Dont buy this unless its for the garage, or your grandma, that you hate.
Come on now you've gotta realize you have a least a LITTLE bias here, it's not a coincidence the only thing you feel is worth paying up for (and not slickdealing) is closely related to what you sell.

I slickdealed my entire kitchen for my condo and paid someone strictly for the labor, and of course, they bitched about quality, which in reality was them them bitching they couldn't mark up more expensive material to me to add to their profit.

Best decision I've ever made, and haven't had a problem going on my 7th year now, knock on wood, yet I paid a third of what ppl have paid for comparable kitchens.

Let's face it all the faucet are made overseas. so it doesn't matter what brand you buy. As long as they honor the warranty

Not exactly, but home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon, etc do sell quality fixtures as well as plumbing supply stores, it's just not all they sell
