There are not many folks who are going to wake up and see this deal and decide today is the day I will become a balls to the wall bodybuilder. The point I am making is that if you already are a bodybuilder no one needs to tell you if these are right for you. If you are not a bodybuilder and feel you want to start building, at the price offered this is hard to beat. If you keep your form and learn the correct way to do each exercise these will last you a long time. Form and time under tension can do wonders for building. I have been lifting for over 40 years. Throughout these years I have seen people lifting heavy weights and get almost no progress, strength wise or bodybuilding. A lot of people do heavy weights by jerking it up the wrong way, using other muscles not really intended for the body part being worked. There is surely a time for jerking the weights. When you are more advanced and know what you are doing. Example...trying to get the last few repurlhasbeenblockeds after already doing them correctly to near exhaustion. If you use the 52's and do each rep slowly and purposely you can get very good results. When you get stronger, take much quicker breaks between sets. Really feel and squeeze the muscle you are working. At some point if you get the bug you will know exactly what weights to get to advance. These weights will come in handy if and when you get an injury. They will be great to fall back on. Powerlifting is a whole different thing, but even they need to start somewhere. If you get these and eat right, get proper sleep and commit to the routine you WILL see good results. If you don't see the results right away keep at it. Some people are "hard gainers".

I have this bench. It is just okay, not great. There is a big space between the pads when the bench is flat.

Individual dumb bells on a rack are more convenient if you will be using different weights during your routine, which most people do. So, it is cost and space availability that one would need to consider.

I just got the 552s last week on the $200 deal and love them so far. The bench would be a great addition if you have the space.

I ordered the dumbbells from Walmart without the bench last week for $200. Wondering if I should get this instead.

Excellent bundle... the series 5.1 bench is a great value at 100$ if you consider that the dumb bells themselves are around $200 at their lowest. Front page worthy

Do you happen to own that bench? I'm curious to hear from a person instead of amazon reviews. Thanks in advance.

I did the same thing and plan on returning the dumbells to Wal-Mart (I just ordered this bundle). Seems like no brainer.. I was just considering buying the 3.1 bench used for $70.. But can't beat this for the incremental $100 for 5.1 bench.

Wow. Great deal. I have that bench and I had the dumbells too. They are both worth it at this price.

Nice find. I've always wondered why more people don't just buy these dumbbells instead of getting individual sets? Is it strictly a cost thing or are these bowflex dumbbells not ideal for certain exercises?
