Ryobi Tool Lanyard $9.97

Ryobi 18v hanging tool lanyard. These things have been out of stock for over a year and when they are back in stock they are sold out within a week. You can find them on eBay or Amazon but typically sell for 3 to 4 times retail price. This is not a sale price or clearance price for home depot but compared to normally available prices on third party sites and home depot inventory these are hard to come by. As far as I know this is online order only and will ship to store.

I ordered 5 sets myself said my order went through with no cancelation yet. I placed my order before posting this though and I was notified by a "back in stock" alert.

Been waiting for these to come back in stock and saw them on the Direct Tools site last week but didn't want to pay $7 shipping (dumb move on my part) and now they are gone there and at Home Depot.

Got a few sets of these for Christmas and they are great.

Yeah I ordered these as soon as I got the alert, the third picture I posted is my workbench and I have about 7 tools floating around I need to hang.

I can't figure out why ryobi doesn't produce more of these considering how quickly they sell out.

I looked at these also but I didn't like how the tools hang down so far. Seems like wasted space. I'm planning on adding some pegboard to the walls and using these instead.

I hung a bar using pipe fittings about a foot over the top of my galvanized pegboard so they don't interfere with my other tools. If you look at the third picture that's my workbench.

I can't understand why you can't get these anywhere, i would think these would be such a hot product. I would expect them to always be available at home depot.

I caught a sale on direct tools and i bought as many as I could get my hands on because i have like 20 ryobi tools and these qere worth every penny.

This seems like something we should be able to 3D print. Maybe our prints aren't strong enough?

This is what I use - works great for everything from my small DeWalt screwdriver (DCF610) to the 18v impact driver and hammer drill.
I have a thick double hook similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Double-Metal-Pegboard-Hooks/dp/B06WWR9PP1/ref=asc_df_B06WWR9PP1/?tag=hyp... [amazon.com] for the reciprocating saw.
I've seen, but haven't tried, specialty pegboard holders for circular saw, sander, etc.
So, fine idea, but other options are out there if you get tired of waiting for these to come back in stock.
