Costco bag is smaller at 34lbs.
Sams club same price as Costco but they cheekily edit out the size on their website photo and description. I'm guessing its the same size as the Costco one.

Home Depot = $1.04 per lb

Costco = $1.13 per lb

Hence Home Depot bag is cheaper!

Not a bad deal. picked it up for this price a week or 2 ago, but heads up... the crabgrass version was more expensive in the store. Regular lawn food was also on sale.

I picked some up last weekend at Lowes. If you bought either the Scott's turf builder with crabgrass preventer(blue bag) or their Weed and feed(yellow) you got the green lawn food bag(green) for free.

Target online has the 15lb bag for $19.99, and you can use $5 off $20 with code GARDEN (for some reason, you don't need to add a filler to make it $20...guess $20 can be after tax)

If you haven't put crabgrass preventer down yet, it may be a little late. You have to put that down before it germinates.

Don't waste your time with Scotts crap. See howtowithdoc.com about Doc's Super Juice and PGF fertilizers.

Be very careful with this Weed and Feed formula. You might end up with more weeds than ever. I don't use that it any other any more. Have more weeds than grass. Had to hire TrueGreen to come spray my lawn. Weeds out of control.

Check the size on these bags - I'd swear the warehouse club would sometimes offer 12,000 sq ft bags, but the HD/Lowes version was 15,000 square feet.

For people that live in places where it does not rain much, you probably do not want to kill the clover. It is way more drought tolerant than regular grass. In our old house, mid-summer when it had not rained in months, clover was the only thing still green. Also, it does a great job at fixing nitrogen, which then, in turn, helps the grass later on. So these companies are having you kill off something that in turn means you have to buy more of their fertilizer. Pure madness. Leave the clover alone!

You leave your clover alone and have an ugly yard. I'll happily get rid of mine and have a great looking lawn.
