Sandisk vs Samsung
20, 000 hours for 256GB; vs n/a
10, 000 hours for 128GB; vs. 43,800 hours
5, 000 hours for 64GB; vs. 26,280 hours
2, 500 hours for 32GB. Vs. Didnt check

I got samsung 64GB proEndurance with 26,280 hours recording for $18 amazon. Sandisk is 5,000 hours, not even a fifth of what samsung is capable off and only sells 3 dollars cheaper. Just my two cents

Just be careful. I had a non endurance card in my dash cam which worked just fine for many years - I'd take it out from time to time and look at videos and everything was working perfectly. Then I was the victim in a hit-and-run accident and tried to pull the footage for the police - found out the card quit working several weeks before. Customer service told me it was because of too many writes to the card, as it was not made to handle dashcams. I'll not make that mistake again.

Those numbers signify MTBF (mean time between failure) and not the number of hours of video it stores.

I find it odd that these cards haven't been released yet. I thought these cards have been in the market for quite some time.

Edited to add: Must have been Samsung that I was thinking of.

Is that an independent assessment, company marketing material, or warranty length? Thanks for helping compare them.

U3 vs u1 is about speed of the card not how many hours it can store. U3 faster vs U1.

Its company marketing and warranty. But personally I have seen the difference between the regular sd cards from both companies, of my own and others. Samsung is totally worth it and dont want to see my sd card give errors, which san disks almost always did

Agreed. My DJI Mavic 2 Pro fails to recognize my Class 10 SanDisk 32GB but recognizes the same specced Samsung Evo card. But the SanDisk works in everything else so who knows.
