Those interested may want to look at this first:
https://linustechtips.com/main/to...tier-list/

This particular lineup of Cooler Master PSU's falls on the 3rd best tier

Seasonic, there were two focus series floating around in computer deals. I have one, and it's silent with no coil whine. I can't say the same for my previous RM modular cooler master series.

I second seasonic, I have one of their gold series and it's been great and quiet to me.

Just a decent brand for me is good enough. Not a hardcore gamer. Just a daily computer user for internet. Currently have a Corsair 450w which I have no complaints about that may not be enough power for a ryzen 5 I want to upgrade to

I have been running a Ryzen 7 2700X on a Corsair 450w for 5 months now, no issues. Your graphics card is what could get you though, I am only running a 750Ti at the moment so when I upgrade my GPU (likely a 1660 Ti) I will also get the Seasonic or Corsair 650w Gold just to be safe.

Depends on GPU.I have a Ryzen 2600 and 1080ti on 550 watt corsair PSU and it works great also I don't over clock.

It varies depending on what hardware you run and stuff like fans and other devices but if your just running basic stuff with a lower wattage GPU like a 1060 and don't overclock you should be fine.

Though PSU do degrade over time so you might want extra wattage for future upgrades.I only kept my PSU as I hadn't had it that long and upgraded to 1080ti and Ryzen and figured if it worked fine I would ride it out until it gives me issues.

Have an older r7 260 that I'm planning to Port to my ryzen 5 1600 build. Should be ok powerwise in general but want to have a bit more overhead.

having random reboots with my current a10-7800 (65w tdp) but I think it's the motherboard but sort of want to rule out that it's not the psu too.

Seems like a good deal... If only it came with a 10 yr warranty...

Probably best to wait for Seasonic Focus Plus Series 750W to go back to $60 or $70. Unless you absolutely need something now.
