I hate the pyrex lids. I have about 30 pyrex pieces and all the lids are cracked Frown I'm going to try the strechy silicone caps from amazon to see if they work ok

Target says it's regularly $14.95 (and amazon varies, but in that range). So this is only about 10% off.

My usual benchmark for a good price for these Pyrex glass containers is around $1 per piece (including lids - so this set should be ~$10). Of course, that depends on the size of the containers that you're getting, but seeing as this one includes two of the 1-cup containers, I'm standing by my benchmark price.

I have a set that I've been using regularly for the past four years, and knock on wood, no cracked lids yet. Good to know I can find lids only on Amazon though!

I am sure they make the lids like that so you repurchase. Lately I have felt the lids are getting worse.

You can buy lids only from Amazon/eBay, legit or China knockoffs.

Is there a brand that you prefer over Pyrex? Are the locking type lids by other companies better than this type of lid?

I have this set from 2012 (Amazon lighting deal for $10.99 if you have a time machine). I think that the edge of one smaller round container is chipped, but the set has otherwise held up well.

No cracked lids for me. I hand wash everything (no dishwasher temps).

Considering a duplicate set for more storage.

I have this set. I ordered it from target a few months ago. I am very happy with it. It isn't much of a discount from the normal price, but the normal price is very low compared to what pyrex containers normally cost.

I actually bought 2 sets for gifts I was so impressed with our set.

I don't know why Target displays that but regular price in-store at Target is $20.78 [brickseek.com]. The model number (6021224) matches up with Walmart [walmart.com] where regular price is $25.50.
