Having worked in a deli and owned one of these, please look for a slicer with a blade cover. Industrial slicers have a cover over the spinning blade, where only about an inch of the blade is uncovered for slicing. Without the cover, the meat slides along the spinning blade and will be thrown off the slicer or you will get very uneven cuts because it gets caught between the spinning blade and the slide plate. Also, without a blade cover, these are dangerous if you do not pay very careful attention to what is going on around the exposed blade. In my experience, I was never fearful of using the meat slicers in the deli but the one time I used this type of at home meat slicer, I couldn't believe how unsafe the exposed blade was and boxed it back up. Again, if you get this, please be very mindful of the exposed, spinning blade. Your fingers are worth more than thin sliced meat at home.

I've cut slices so thin, I couldn't even see them.

In case you were worried, this draws 1 Amp from the wall, 615A is just the name.

just a heads-up to all your do-it-yourselfs, deli/meat counters at most supermarkets will take any cut of meat they are currently selling and cut it to whatever thickness you want free of charge.... (and you won't have to worry about your fingers)

Since it is alphanumeric, "model" would be more exact. Or, "exacter"
