TOTALLY trust this to not be a Chinese knock off!
That being said, I am in for 1! If it works it works, the real question is how well....? If it ends up being legit, ill just consider it a bonus. Reviews on it are good on the website.

Assuming it's the original Microsoft version, it's a bit lighter and can be recharged directly inside the controller using the micro usb cable. I personally own one of these for each of my controllers and think it's worth the investment since I just leave my controllers charging overnight.

Depends on your preferences and habits. I'd prefer some good Eneloops and a reliable charger to dealing with cords, etc, if that was all I had to choose from. For me, anything other than a dual charge docking station is unacceptable. Not that much more money either, maybe a couple of bucks when on sale.

Bulk packaging as in refurbs that won't last as long? My experience is even brand new the kits tend to die far too easy. I barely used the one I had for 360 and it wouldn't hold a charge after a year of being used for maybe 40 hours total. Naaaaaaaaaaaah.
