WD BLACK SN750 1TB NVMe Internal Gaming SSD - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280, 3D NAND - WDS100T3X0C

This is the lowest price this ssd has been. Wondering if this makes it competitive enough with the Samsung Pro to overlook the performance e differences.

Purchased. Not certain what I will do with it.
Would like to replace the existing internal HP 250GB NVMe.
Though, I have this external USB 3.1 gen2 NVMe enclosure, STILL unpopulated...

This shows the Samsung 970 EVO Plus as MUCH better:

Though, at $245 for either of them...

That comparison doesn't makes sense. You are comparing last gen(2nd) Black to 970 Plus when the sale is for the 3rd gen which is much closer and even surpasses it in a few areas according to most reviews out there (The 970 Evo Plus is still better overall IMO but if you can get this drive for much cheaper it's a no brainer).

I don't see these on userbench yet. There's probably not enough in the wild yet to show up as these were just introduced in Jan at comdex.

Heres a a review of the 2019 vs 2018 WD black models....

I want a RAID 10 array of these.
AND, an external Thunder Bolt 3 enclosure for these type "drives".
