Hi All,

Just sharing one of my favorite all around and goto knife which includes a fire steel. Very good price for a solid knife.

Light My Fire [woot.com]

Description from Woot!:
The Light My Fire Swedish FireKnife is the result of a collaboration between well-respected Swedish brands, Morakniv and Light My Fire. This is more than just an extremely sharp, flexible, and sturdy all-around knife; the handle contains a fire starter. In other words, you can gut and clean a fish, split kindling and light a campfire with one handy tool.

The Swedish FireKnife has a 3.75-inch (95 mm) blade of hardened Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel with a three-quarter tang. Profile ground blade at the tip allows it to perform well with camp food preparations while the back of the knife has been specially ground to work perfectly with the included Swedish FireSteel fire starter. TPE rubber material on the handle provides a firm grip and the Swedish FireSteel 2.0 Scout fire starter securely twist-locks into the rear of the handle. The Swedish FireSteel is made from a durable magnesium alloy that produces a 3,000°C (5,400°F) spark, works well when wet, performs at all altitudes, and lasts approximately 3,000 strikes.
  • Fixed blade knife with hardened Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade made by Morakniv of Sweden and high-friction, anti-slip TPE rubber handle
  • Includes Swedish FireSteel fire starter that twist-locks into handle; spine of the blade is ground especially for use with a fire starter

I have this, and it's pretty cool. The Mora knife has a smaller blade than their standard knives, but it's fine for many uses. Plus you can always pick up a few of the stainless or carbon Moras and toss 'em in your gear bag (they're usually so inexpensive, why not?).

And the spork is OK to put in my bag for when I fly. At least TSA hasn't confiscated it yet.

BTW, my set did come with the small piece of wood.

Moraknives are renowned for their excellence and affordability. The only way you're breaking this knife is if it's defective (never seen one) or you're batonning the sh** out of it, which you're not supposed to do. It's a great, lightweight campknife that you can make fire all day with. Pair this knife with something large for big work, and you've met all your needs.

Simply one tool isn't the best for every task. For sub-20, you can't go wrong with this one.
