Dell has an awesome price on the excellent Vizio PQ65 Quantum TV after factoring in the GC.

You may also join Dell's rewards program (free) for an additional GC valued at 3%-6% ($45-$90).

OMG... Quantum dots (the Q in QLED) are not a gimmick. They do (sometimes) provide some nice benefits over regular old LED. The term "QLED", coined and owned by Samsung, IS a marketing gimmick, specifically designed to look like OLED to trick suckers who don't know any better. See what I am saying?

I have this TV and love it. My parents were due for a new tv and they loved mine so much they got one for themselves and also love it. The Dolby Vision HDR is fantastic. Make sure you properly calibrate the TV before use. I know the issues the above poster is describing and believe that a proper calibration would have resolved these issues.

I got it for $1400 from Costco during Black Friday. This is the lowest this has ever been with the gift card.

Unfortunately, this is now a harder to find set, so you may not have much luck finding a local store to see a display unit. TBH, the b&m stores are not the best place to determine a TVs quality anyway, as they typically are not calibrated for optimal viewing.

I would give professional reviews more weight. Both Rtings and CNET list this set at the top of all LED sets. Only the Samsung Q9 is reviewed as favorably, albeit at a much higher price point.

I had one and returned it - significant backlight strobe effect during certain HDR scenes. Other than that (and halos due to local dimming) it was utterly spectacular.

Not many TVs have this in store on display, now, let alone 6 months ago... The Vizio P series (not the P Quantum) is usually on Display at Best Buy. That is the lower model of this TV. I had that in a 55 inch and the picture was fantastic. I used that as the "display" knowing that the PQ would be better quality...it was, and did not disappoint (even though the P series alone was spectacular).

There is a known lottery with this TV...if you get a good one it is great
If not...you get something you like described as well as banding and other QC issues

Most Costco locations have them on display..I think

As for reviews..I would use the rtings somewhat...just the numbers based measurements not their summations
There is some known issue with this TV's color gradients/banding that are not captured in the rtings review
Evert professional calibraor I have seen on AVS has mentioned it

Ultimately...choose with your own eyes as rtings would have you think this is on the same level as the Samsung Q9...and it is not

Plus or minus...I would say its more Q8 or Sony 900F

As a note, a certain rebate site has 8% back as well on Dell

Yeah, I have 2 local Costco's, and neither of them have it on display. Nowhere around me does in fact. I also agree it is in line with a Q8, but the price difference more than makes up for the difference from either the Q8/Q9. I think it is better than the Sony though.
