Dell has a great price after factoring in the GC.

Also you can sign up to their rewards program (free) for an extra 3%-6% ($30-$60) in GCs.

Seems like a great deal...only issue is there's nothing to use that gift card on :-/ decent laptops and monitors but IMO mediocre.

I can't decide if I should get a lower end vizio e series 75" or this 65". I sit about 12 feet away. And my budget is around 1k
It really just depends on your priorities; raw size or more accurate local dimming for more accurate HDR? 12 ft is pretty far away so I don't think you can go wrong either way. If you don't think you'll care about dark/light accuracy (if you're only watching cable TV and Hulu, for example, who cares as it doesn't output native hdr) , go 75". Personally, at 5ft from the TV I'd probably get a 55" p series over a 65" e, as I care more about that sweet HDR.

You do realize the company changed hands a couple of years ago and is now struggling? They don't even sell on Amazon. Maybe because they don't want reviews that everyone can see?

Can't trust their reviews. Take them with a grain of salt.

I've trusted their positive reviews for my last 2 Sammys, and have been very happy. I think you just have some weird brand prejudice because it;s what you have. This is a thing these days..

Dude I have several friends who have bought the newer P Series TV'S and have not had one issue. Most ratings sites give them a favorable reviews. To each their own..

Want to expand on that? What makes you think this? My take is that they are consumer-driven (paid subscription) and therefore are financially incentivised to put consumers first - if a single report comes out that they accepted some bribe from a manufacturer, or if their advertising relationship with a given company coincides with suspiciously positive reviews, their entire business model would collapse. I trust that leaps and bounds over review sites that gets their money from ad revenue; if they review Samsung products poorly on a consistent basis, Samsung would never contact them for an advertising account - therefore they are fundamentally financially incentivised to not piss off a given company.

You don't seem to get it, do you? Just because your friends just bought new p series TVs, it has absolutely nothing to do with CR's reporting that they have issues after 5. Your post would only be relevant if you post this again in 5 years...please acquaint yourself with objectivity and context before sounding off o something.

Several people have complained about Consumer Reports. They are not the same company they used to be.
