not the same model, this is the V series with dolby vision and "120hz"
I found this Reddit comment that compared both TVs. https://www.reddit.com/r/VIZIO_Official/comments/9vij8t/vizio_v_series_for_black_friday/ee2sd2s?utm_... [reddit.com]

So,

Granted this is new (and hence not reviewed), based on the specs and what we "know", does this sound like a good deal overall? Good for Xbox One S?

Had no idea this was a thing but Googled it after your comment and looks pretty nice, thanks for posting!
The newer Fire TVs let you do this without the need for a USB drive. I believe they have more internal memory than the Roku's which is why they can do this.

The website https://www.vizio.com/v505g9.html says Effective Refresh Rate is 120Hz.
Hi, the effective refresh rate is different from a native refresh rate. When something is said to have an effective refresh rate of 120hz it usually means it's a 60hz tv with some software enhancements to make it seem like it's 120hz, but sometimes that's overstated. I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing, just sharing that the comment you replied to is still correct.

You probably already have had a few answers but to break it down, here is a good article. Sorry about the ads (it's cnet), but an adblocker will eliminate %95+ of them. Smilie
