Purchased this around Black Friday when it was ~$100 or so and works great in the my Ryzen system at rated speed. Great price!

Purchased near BlackFriday for $88 and they work amazingly with my Ryzen 2700X. Runs at rated speed. You will need to enable the XMP profile in the motherboard though.

Building my first PC in a month or two, considering Ryzen 3 or 5. Will these be compatible regardless of CPU choice? These will work with any motherboard?

Would this be a good pick for my Ryzen 7 2700x for music production?
Also is it worth waiting to get the this ram at 3000 or should I go higher like 3200 or maybe 3600

For anyone keeping score, this value seems about equal to the NewEgg Intel SSD/GSkill ram package deal from yesterday (except you don't need the SSD here). Based on the timings, it appears to be possibly same chips, just different brand.

For a Ryzen build, if you can swing it, try and shoot faster/lower latency.

Ryzen CPUs shine with faster memory. with that being said, at this price, it's good bang for your buck.

For music production wouldn't matter much.

I know the manufacturer specs these with a lifetime warranty but, sometimes "they" only honor warranties through certain official partner stores... Anyone know for sure either way with these?

update: the massgenie rep replied on the next page to say yes, it'd valid.

buuut... I think the $6.24 tax is gonna kill it for me, considering it was the same base price from Rakuten just a few weeks ago, but no additional tax tacked on... https://slickdeals.net/f/12980008-16gb-2x8gb-adata-xpg-gammix-d10-ddr4-3000mhz-desktop-memory-for-69-69-ac-fs
