Why is this a good deal??
Particularly for a solid wood top, this is a great price. Lag seems to be big on 'environmentally-conscious' materials, so they use an alternative to rosewood ('brownwood') for the fingerboard. Their low-end models are made in China, but if I needed/wanted another cheaper guitar, I'd bite.

Do these have amplifier outputs?
Yes, they have electronics with output jacks, so you can plug into an amp.

There are actually quite a few on various Lag models. And for the price they are discounted down to, it's worth the gamble to give it a go. If you are unlucky and get a defective or damaged one, they'll pay for the return so the risk is minimal.

Kind of wish it were the dreadnought model, but these deals are really good for a solid top. So many of the other name brand guitars in the budget range (costing at least twice this) have laminate/plywood tops.

I broke down and bought one. Don't need another guitar, but pretty much any solid top acoustic/electric for $115 is worth the money.

So. Anyone who jumped on this deal want to comment on the playability? Action, neck. Overall feel? Watched some videos and read some reviews and from my point of view this isn't a bad deal for a no name guitar for $115 that seems to at least sound pretty good. Thinking of getting one to keep at my gfs house. Any insight is appreciated.
This is not a no name guitar. It's a Lag and they are well known.

Well ive been playing guitar for 20 years and I've never heard of them so clearly not that well known.

Got the dread a few weeks back. So is this just like an inch shorter? My daughter says the one I got her is a little big so I guess this one is not that much smaller?

But that's just your own anecdotal experience which has nothing to do with the broader reality. I've been recording and mixing music for 30 years, but never heard of Focal Monitors until maybe a year or so ago, but I found out they're a very well known and respected studio monitor, who knew? You live you learn..

I did some you tube searching for the sample sounds and bought LAG T270D deal(https://slickdeals.net/f/13024882-lag-t270d-dreadnought-satin-ce-acoustic-guitar-t270d-169-99?v=1&src=SiteSearch) instead. It might be my preference but I like the brighter base and mid tone on this guitar. D70ACE tone sounded little muted for me.

The below are some sound samples from T270D

This is a sound sample for T70ACE

Mine came yesterday. It looks great, feels great, and sounds great. For the money it would be hard to beat. I have yet to plug in because the acoustic sound is very loud and bright. Built in tuner and free cable and battery was a plus too. Might buy another to resell one day. Very slick deal right here. If on the fence, pull the trigger. You won't be let down.

Anyone can recommend a not too expensive hard shell case?

I got the Lag T100ACE and I think the specs may be similar to this guitar.

I got mine yesterday. 2 day shipping with Shoprunner. This is probably the best value deal I have ever seen for a quality guitar. Kind of can't believe they were still able to make money on this. Even came with a 9v battery, cable, and a fresh set of coated strings. Set up seems good. I really don't know what to say. I am blown away. If you are on the fence, this deal is still live. PULL THE TRIGGER.

Which electronics does this model come with?
