This looks like a great deal on a high resolution monitor that's only been out since about late December 2018:
  • 32 inch QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS display assures Fast response times and improved color reproduction from virtually any viewing angle.
  • Radeon free Sync technology reduces the tearing and stuttering for smoother motion and less stuttering in demanding games.
  • On-screen control/screen split puts a host of essential monitor settings into a handy window for quick, easy access
  • Multiple inputs- features display port, mDP and two HDMI inputs Plus a headphone jack for versatile connectivity
  • Wall mountable

I bought this when BuyDig had it for the same price about 2 weeks ago and I've really enjoyed it so far. I'm running it at 1440p @ 75hz off of hdmi on the desktop and it looks great. I game on it at 1080p, since I have a NVIDIA GTX 970, and even full screen the 1080p resolution looks good. Can't comment on the freesync stuff obviously.

Only con I've had so far is it has some pretty significant backlight bleed at the top when the screen is completely black. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the model overall or just luck of the draw. For me it is not a dealbreaker since I don't look at black screens much and the picture is so nice in pretty much every other use case.

nothing worse than feeling like a curved panel trapped inside of a flat panel.

Anyone comment on this ? Shows lowest on CamelX3. 75hz with freesync. IPS panel seems like it checks a lot of the boxes.

I've been trying to get into a 32. The basic stand kills it for me. I'm not wall / arm mounting and don't have one so the all in isn't great. Just waiting for a version with height adjustment. Otherwise looks like a decent deal. $220 seems to be the new rotating "sale" price point for these specs.

SMH... thanks for blocking the VESA mount with the stand. Am I the only one around here who wants to mount a mini PC on the back?

I have an LG TV, and had the LCD panel replaced for the backlight leak couple of months in, only to find the replacement leaks backlight as well, just at a different edge.
According to the tech "all of them have some backlight issue"
I also bought an LG monitor - form Costco - and returned it because of the panel issue as well, though a different one.
I do like the specs, I do not want to be involved in the return process - even to Amazon.
Can others comment on LG's panel backlight leakage from their experience?

Do you think that I could make this into a curved monitor with the right amount of heat and pressure?

Yes, you can.
But this will increase the amount of backlight bleed to the point that no picture will be visible

I would buy this in black.

In silver... I am mulling it over.

I am using old technology 2 x 19" 1280 x 1024 square monitors side-by-side but tilted in a slight (very open) V formation. (1 of those monitors just blew) Is this monitor equivalent or better than the 2 monitor setup that I currently have? I'm a developer and will use this when I work from home, I won't be playing games. At work, I have a 27" 4K monitor, that I think is overkill resolution-wise. I'm thinking that I'll probably want the 32" further away than I currently have the 2 19" monitors. Does anyone have experience in this type of change?
