I know this is off topic but thought I would share. If you have any old digital codes for movies that show an old expiration date, they are not expired. Just redeemed Inception on MA yesterday and it showed that the code expired in 2016.
Interesting

I got a Matrix code that I wanted to sell, but forgot about it. It does have expiration date, which is BS to begin with.

What's even the point of getting 4K copies of things if you're just going to get crappy bitrate starved versions instead of the 4K Blu-ray
A lot has changed since 2017 bud...

They almost never expire. It's just a failsafe if they stop offering the movie on that platform...

Yeah.. no I'll wait for 4k UHD bluerays
Not a huge difference anymore. Of the discs in some cases may be a tad better, but only if you have a great player. I've noticed the bitrate when streaming 4K is much higher than it used to be.

Note that this doesn't work for all movies - some actually do expire. Had one in an old case I found early last year that the site showed expired. Still worth trying each one, but sometimes they do actually expire.

Well for PQ maybe depending on your display and how picky you are. As far as AQ still pretty significant difference especially if you have a good system.

Depends on the movie I think. Most of my newer VUDU movies have full D. Atmos tracks and are near the disc quality. I have a pretty robust setup. Currently running 7.2.2 and they definitely sounds great. Maybe not 100%, but I'd say most are 90+.

Lmk how your iTunes copy's work out if your internet is out and it can't call home
I don't use iTunes. Lol. And if my internet goes down (it's happened once in 5+ years, for about 30 mins) I can watch one of the 200+ movies I own on disc. Thanks for you deep concern though.

Nevermind. Just redeemed my DC in the standard BD case for Mad Max...and it redeemed as UHD. Neat!

If you have Atmos with at least a 5.1.2 speaker setup, get at least The Matrix and Mad Max. Upgrade them if you already have them, for these prices. Totally worth it. In 7.1.4 these sound amazing. (not to mention that the new transfer for the Matrix is really worth it alone either way)

It is great, the HDR is awesome and if someone posts that MM:FR is fake 4K i will go off on them since this is a great transfer! I use it as my example of fake 4K still being an improvement over 1080p BD's.

Yeah, there are a LOT of UHD transfers that come from a 2K DI...and they still look great compared to their HD counterparts. I'm really glad I decided to redeem my HD card, getting free upgrade to UHD when NOT in iTunes is always nice!

I almost snagged Matrix, but then I saw you can get the UHD Trilogy for $20 fairly often, so I'll wait.
