Home Depot clearance - Gorilla MPX-22 with wheels for $99

I've seen this ladder at $100 a few times on SD (including right now, I think), but not with wheels. Looks like at least a few stores have those on clearance, with wheels, for $99.98. The wheels are about $18 when purchased separately, so definitely a nice bonus for this relatively heavy but strong and versatile ladder if you can find it.

So if it's not in store there's no way to get it? Can't even order with ship to store delivery?? Stupid.

Last time they had a sale on this or a similar ladder with wheels, they sold out despite showing stock online. I ended up just getting the non-wheeled model for free after being in the store for over an hour while they were trying to track down my originally ordered ladder lol.
They gave you a $200 ladder for free? I doubt It.

I find it funny that Home Depot continually lists items for sale ... yet they just don't have them for sale. This is a classic case-in-point. The HD website shows this item for sale and NOT a clearance item. Click on their bait and the item is not available within 100 miles.

Just a waste of time.

Just my 2 cents. I had one with wheels and I still found it very heavy and difficult to carry around.

These multipurpose ladders are stupid heavy.
I have the Werner 22 and rarely use it because of the weight.

I picked this up a few months ago at this price. No complaints except the weight but the stability is awesome. There is zero movement in this ladder once it is locked in place. I appreciate having just one ladder, but do dread if I have to haul it upstairs.

Echo what is said, I don't use the wheel much mainly because the rattling is loud when wheeling it. Plus it is faster to carry it but it is heavy. Try it out in store to see if it is too heavy for you, if so, suggest to bypass this. The wheel just helps to move it around. If you ever use it fully extended say to climb up to the roof, you may have problem putting the ladder up against the roof edge due to the weight.

If weight is an issue, aluminum is the right choice albeit more expensive.

Wouldn't hurt to put "ladder" in the title. https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...ilies/wink.gif
Its not a ladder, it's a Gorilla MPX-22.

I couldn't agree more, great ladder but I dreaded using it because it was so freaking heavy!

I just bought this without wheels for 100 and it's waiting to be picked up. I'm wondering if I should cancel that and order this. The weight limit is also better on this ladder...
Duhhhh!

These things are heavy for a reason. I used it for trimming down large branches (4-8" diameter) off my tree. This gets me up to the tree where the large branches are. About 20 feet up. And it's reasonably sturdy.

I used to pay 450 about 3 years ago for the tree service to do this. But that includes removal which takes a lot of time without the branch shredder. I just use my loppers to cut the branches to fit my green waste bin.

I got the model without wheels last November on clearance deal for $169 and for 40 lbs weight it is heavy to carry around the house. Its only used once indoors. I wish I had paid by Home Depot Credit Card which would have allowed me to return it within 1 year period and buy this one with wheels for $99.

By paying with a 2% cashback BoA card then I lost opportunity for a much better deal like this now. so 'Penny wise pound foolishness" of me Frown
