FYI: A Newegg review [newegg.com]and other Slickdeals posts for this PSU indicate it comes with a card inside the box to get a $25 Steam gift card for leaving a review of the PSU following the instructions on it. May sweeten the deal even more for some.

F newegg with their scam rebate card offer.

Lol, what? I have never had an issue with Newegg rebates. Just follow terms and instructions for submission.

Anyways.. Thanks OP, been waiting for this to go back down to 60 or 70 bucks.

I and others from the previous deal haven't heard anything after submitting a review for the Steam card.

Curious if there was a stated time frame on the submission form or if you have contacted them to ask when and how you might be receiving it? I have read what you say, but no one provides any specifics about it. Guess I can read in a few days when I get the PSU

Seems to be very specific scenarios where this would effect someone. PSU made prior to April 2018 and VEGA made before Jan 2018 if I'm reading right. Being such a popular PSU, very unlikely that April 2018 stock would still be in Newegg's inventory, someone getting one then pairing with the specific card made prior to date would be rare. Seems almost more likely you'd get a DOA PSU before running into these situations?

Also AMD recommends 750w PSU, probably best to go 100w above any recommendation.
https://www.amd.com/en/products/g...rx-vega-64

i.e. my gfx card says recommended 550w, but I bought this one for some head room.

I've read a quiet a few things now, but it seems to me that the issue was defective batch on certain units before Jan 2018, not sure if it still matters now Stick Out Tongue
