Shell Shocker deal ends in about 12 hours. Read this version is much better than the 1st generation. Has a PIR thermal detection sensor, requires less power (8-24V AC), and still has onboard microSD local recording.

Has anyone installed the new doorbell yet? I have the first gen and just received this one to replace it using BlueIris. Do new holes need to be drilled or can you use the existing from the Gen1 doorbell?

Anyone who bought this figure out how to disable the built-in chime that comes from the bell's speaker?

I live in an attached building and it is ridiculous that my neighbors need to hear every time someone rings my bell

Quote from IAmANightmare
:
Anyone know if this is ONVIF or has an RTSP feed to add to Blue Iris ?

It looks like a straight rip from the EZVIZ DB1. Meaning it's a Hikvision built device. I just have no clue. If it has ONVIF/RTSP, I'm all aboard.
So I had a bit of trouble connecting my Halo One to my Lorex system because the Laview instructions are complete crap! Here are the setting I used (Notice I did not use port 8000)
ONVIF
IP Address of Device
Port:80
Username: admin
Password: Verification Code from back of the Laview One Halo.

Hope this helps others!!
