Shell Shocker deal ends in about 12 hours. Read this version is much better than the 1st generation. Has a PIR thermal detection sensor, requires less power (8-24V AC), and still has onboard microSD local recording.

So far I have the best experience with Laview/Hikvision among these security camera brands. They are for sure not the best in the industry but helpful enough to me.

I just bought this doorbell last sale. The night vision is much better than ring. 3mp clarity is great.

I had one installed, put SD card inside. Much better than the 1st generation. It has events on ring log and motions. Built-in speaker rings loudly enough. Good product !

Anyone know if this is ONVIF or has an RTSP feed to add to Blue Iris ?

It looks like a straight rip from the EZVIZ DB1. Meaning it's a Hikvision built device. I just have no clue. If it has ONVIF/RTSP, I'm all aboard.

And for good reason. Their previous gen doorbell has poor connectivity, very basic features, archaic interface, and hasn't had a firmware update once since I installed it. They're normally cheap for a reason but this one isn't exactly cheap so even more of a reason to avoid this one. If you haven't read the reviews of their devices/apps (Hikvision included) then I would encourage you to before buying.

Previous gen did have RTSP and I was able to use it with iSpy. I don't believe it supported ONVIF but don't quote me on that.

This is the 1st generation not One Halo - Please correct post
The 2nd gen is on sale for $219 plus 25% off with code LAVIEW25 which makes it $164.25 with free shipping.
https://www.laviewsecurity.com/on...1k3_fn2lh&
Not sure what the differences are

If you want to go through the hassle of calling LaView you can get the newest version (One Halo) for $139.99 no tax no shipping
see below:
I was able to get LaView to price Match Newegg for the 2nd gen at $139.99
You have to do I phone order to make it happen though / 626-566-7550 and use Option 1

The person that did the transaction for me was named Jordan. He said he already new of the sale at Newegg and did it right away with no issue.
I got an invoice confirmation via email a few minutes later.

LV-PDB1630-U is the 2nd gen
I bought 2 at the $139.99 price and shipped one to my friend in San Antonio Texas and the other to my home, free shipping and not tax also.

Great Deal.
I have a Nest Hello and it does not have very good resolution in my opion and you cant connect it to Blue Iris anymore Nest is always changing things trying to get you to purchase their Nest Aware subscription.
I am moving on - This has to be at least that good and I know I can use it via my Blue Iris app.

The price match to Newegg makes it a much better deal than the Newegg one because it is 2nd gen. Listed for $249 on LaView's website on sale for $219

2nd gen Specs

I'll probably be upgrading my first generation doorbell from LaView. This is the lowest I've seen it at. Thanks op, in4one
