Another Lag guitar on sale at Adorama. For those who don't care about plugging in (I'm shopping for acoustic electrics, or I would have bitten) and just want a nicer acoustic, this is a full dreadnaught. Listened to a few videos online and it sounds really really nice.

I made my decision based entirely on a few Slickdeals comments. Absolutely worth it. The 100 model I got is genuinely more fun to play than my much more expensive Martin. The 270pe I had to exchange though because of the nut. Beautiful guitar though and I'm excited to get another. Honestly it seems like a few people had issues on the Parlor guitar though. A lot of my guitars buddies have purchased these Lags after drooling over mine.
Sorry, what is the nut you speak of on the pe?

Well the first one had massive string buzz issues. The nut was cut so low that the strings were making contact heavily with the first fret. The truss rod could be adjusted but I would've like to have just had a new nut installed but rather returned for another 270PE. It's beautiful and felt great. I saw another sder needed 3 to get a good one. Shipping both ways was free and Adorama had my return label in no time.

Ooooh okay. Yes we had the same issue. Adjusted the truss very slightly and it was good. Now wondering if I'm if I should have returned based on what you've said lol

I adjusted it but it was too much. Rather just get a new one if it fixes it.

From what I understand, they won best guitar line at NAM for this very line of guitars (and this is one of the higher end ones of the line, albeit a little old). They're not a big company, and since they make their guitars in China, it's easy to think they're no good, but the anecdotes from people who have actually gotten an instrument, both here and on youtube seem to speak highly of them. I'd imagine they're something like Orangewood. Trying to make higher quality by doing it themselves, and take a small bite of the market by pricing them low since nobody knows them. I've never used their guitars, but I'm pretty tempted to get one if I can find a good acoustic electric. I'm on the fence about the parlor size right now, and the T70 looks like a lower end one, and I wouldn't mind spending another 50-100 bucks to get something that hopefully will feel like a much nicer mid-range guitar.

As someone who owns many guitars including Martin,Taylor, Breedlove, Gibson, Ovation, Yamaha, Alvarez, Fender AND Lag....your comment is the only joke. Mission accomplished.
