ASRock B360M Xtreme.
It says that if you look closely on one of the pictures.

And GPU from EVGA.
Pictures rarely mean much for these as they use whatever they have on hand. For example, most of the reviews state they did not receive a EVGA GPU.

i read somewhere that CBPC uses whatever brand components they have on hand. so one pc may have different branded components from the next

Be prepared that you will not find ASRock B360M Xtreme on ASRock website.

That motherboard and cooler are definitely not enough for holding i9 at peak rate
You dont know what motherboard and cooler come with it, yet you seem to know exactly what they can hold. That is impressive.

PS. It is an i7, not i9.

Hmm. Not bad. I would probably move the rear fan to the top vent (either intake or exhaust, depending on the other fans available) and replace it with a single fan water cooling block drawing from external air. That should solve any cooling issues. Even something cheaper like a Cooler Master Evo and an extra case fan should do the trick.

My bigger concern is the dearth of USB ports on the back. There's no way to know if the actual mobo would have more. I don't know about you guys, but these days I never seem to have enough with wireless dongles, external drives, VR, etc.

Just built this in pcpartpicker:
9700k
$10 cpu cooler
Cheapest Z390 board
Cheapest 2x8 16gb ram
Cheapest 2 TB HDD and 240gb SSD
Cheapest RTX 2070
$30 case
cheapest 600w PSU (80+)

And it came to almost $1200, without keyboard, mouse, OS.

This is a pretty good deal
I got the same, however, I used better parts than in the prebuilt system. It's an Okay deal in my opinion!

You can fall back a generation to an i7-8700K and increase to a 512 GB nVME SSD and drop to a 1 TB HDD for about $50 less. You'd be buying straight from the integrator though, and not Newegg.

Different case as well.

If anyone is worried about the CPU temps, you should be able to easily de-lid the CPU and drop the temps between 10 and 20 degrees.
However, this will likely void the warranty on the CPU (if there is one).
This is a 9700k....

DDR4 2400, 2666, or 3000? Specs don't specify the ram speed. One customer's CPU temp hit 93 C. This thing will just burn up without better cooling. Add liquid cooling to the cost

Do what mischlep says a few posts above. Only sacrificing 5-10% CPU power for a system with liquid cooling. It will easily last longer if that's what you're into in a computer

pcpartpicker is a configuration site.
Correction:

Partpicker links to sites that pay it the most at the time of your search for advertising and link through so chances of it showing you a slick deal is slim to none. Still a very good site just remember you can buy all the parts by doing your own search later on and using your own CB site. For example check 2700x there vs Microcenter at $240.
