Was seriously considering a cyberpower rig but even with all of the happy customers, the horror stories concern me. Linus did urlhasbeenblocked video with several PC builders. Customer service was lacking for several builders.

I have a 9700k with an EVGA 280mm aio and during 3 hour pubg weekend runs it never goes above 60c. This is in an h500i with a 1070.

How much more fps does i7-9700K give vs i5-9600K and i5-9400F?

If anyone is worried about the CPU temps, you should be able to easily de-lid the CPU and drop the temps between 10 and 20 degrees.
However, this will likely void the warranty on the CPU (if there is one).
You can't delid 9700k

DDR4 2400, 2666, or 3000? Specs don't specify the ram speed. One customer's CPU temp hit 93 C. This thing will just burn up without better cooling. Add liquid cooling to the cost

Do what mischlep says a few posts above. Only sacrificing 5-10% CPU power for a system with liquid cooling. It will easily last longer if that's what you're into in a computer
9700k needs 240mm aio or higher, seeing cyber building with 120mm concerns me. Obviously whoever designs the system has no idea how hot 9700k will get. 9900k needs 360mm to handle...

Interesting experiment, but random underpaid and unqualified sales reps not being fully educated and trying to upsell people isn't really an indication of anything reflecting their build or product quality. I would expect anyone on Slickdeals is willing to put in the bare minimum amount of research on a product they're going to buy, so why would anyone here even deal with a sales rep in the first place?

There was an 8700k pre-built from Walmart with a 2080 for $1400 around Christmas. I'm holding out for something similar to come back.

What book are you talking about?
If you're advice is to go and read books, then what is this purpose of this forum and ANY forum?

If everyone had your attitude (including others who have been thumbs downing me for asking a naive question), humanity would not have progressed much from the stone age.

Shame on all of you who thumbs down and ridicule innocent people asking innocent questions.

You're right. Seriously. People shouldn't ridicule others. Just as an FYI, if I see something a lot of people have upvoted and I don't understand it, I Google it so I can either join the discussion or learn something I didn't know before. 👍

Gonna run super hot with default air cooler. Forget overclocking on that mobo too; at least any decent overclock.

Can you even overclock on B360 MB? I thought K series only overclocks on Z370 and Z390 MBs.
