Just built this in pcpartpicker:
9700k
$10 cpu cooler
Cheapest Z390 board
Cheapest 2x8 16gb ram
Cheapest 2 TB HDD and 240gb SSD
Cheapest RTX 2070
$30 case
cheapest 600w PSU (80+)

And it came to almost $1200, without keyboard, mouse, OS.

This is a pretty good deal

Well it is an i7 Peace

That said, I'm still cautious as to if this whole set up can properly cool the i7-9700k that runs a bit hot and an RTX 2070. I'd be interested to see how the system itself benches, since even with the same main components we see some lag behind others.

This is a very good deal on a NEW system though. However, it is the same price as the Best Buy open-box deal for an HP Omen Obelisk with i7-8700 and RTX 2080 (ended now I think). For $100 more, the Amazon Warehouse deal for the water cooled Alienware Aurora R7 with i7-8700k and RTX 2080 was even better. These were just typical deals in the last two weeks.

So if you are set on a brand new system, this is great. If you are set to a budget, don't care if it is new or used/like new, then you can get a bit more performance and quality for a little bit more.
