fwiw I like these updates on what prices people are getting on Greentoe. Otherwise it's a guessing game. If I bid too low on Greentoe I either get no responses or I get high-ball responses. If I bid what I know to be a very aggressive bid from someone else's experience, but still not unreasonable, someone usually will accept my offer b/c they know that's it's a done deal at that point.

C8 65" was $1879.
Thanks.

When were you able to get the 1879 price?

I've had a B7A for a year and game on it everyday for at least a couple hours. I have zero burn in. If you had 800 hours straight on the same game with the same static image elements on the screen the whole time then maybe. From my experience burn in on OLED is grossly exaggerated.
Same here, also have a B7A and game on a ps4 pro on a very regular basis (some weekends quite a bit of hours) and have no issues with burn-in. Other TV and movies are also watched on a frequent basis.

I second this. I have an EG9600 (2nd gen?) LG OLED and it's my man cave gaming TV. Played marathon Call of Duty and Gran Turismo sessions on it -- not to mention a full season + playoffs of MLB the Show on it. No burn-in.

I got my 65 C8 price matched at Best Buy from amazon for $2007 earlier this month. I added the extended warranty that covers burn in for 5 years for $499.99 they also offered 24 months 0% APR with their credit card

The only lower price I saw from best buy was $1949.99 last month

It's the greatest TV I have ever seen and it makes all my old favorite movies and shows a new experience. 10/10 would recommend

Same here. I have both an 55 EG9600 and a 65 C6 curved and game on them for years now since day one. No burn in. It's not easy to burn these in.

How would you describe the experience watching cable tv as compared to a on-OLED 4K tv. I know HDR 4K content looks amazing, but we watch 80% Cable tv.

I would say that it is greatly improved but I watch all my TV now on a Apple TV 4K with Dolby Vision and YouTube TV and it looks better than my Sony 4K LCD. I don't own a regular cable box anymore to test.

Safe to assume this price is "plus tax" in NY?
Entirely depends on which seller is offering the deal. Probably a safe bet though from recent experience.

Yes there was a promo to join sams spend 45 get 45 off so I joined to have access to the auctions I won a 65b8 for 1451 plus 49 shipping and tax , and a 55 b8 for 851 plus 49 shipping plus tax I was under 1700 otd for the 65 and under 1k otd for the 55 , you get the manufacture warranty , but no returns to store if you don't like it ,if it's broken or defective I guess you ship back ,and I'm not sure if you can buy the Best Buy warranty which covers burn in, got both TVs for 2600 delivered essentially
