Will Citi card's 2 year warranty work for this? If it does then you won't need to get the Square trade one.
Just checked Citi's site. what's not covered includes:
1. Used, antique or pre-owned items.
2. Items that do not come with a manufacturer's warranty

I took the Sony WH-H900N back and got these instead. Love the soud quality compared to my wifes Bose and to me the xm3 are slimmer and fit my head better than the wh-900.

What I don't understand is how there are so many refurbs of a brand new model like this. It seems like every couple of weeks there is a deal on these refurbished.

There must be a widespread problem to have so many refurb units...
People buy them for one trip and then return them.

When I was in the market for these seemed to be the best option for noise cancellation and overall sound quality. Can't speak for the seller etc.
What about today? Which is the best option in your opinion?

I purchased these headphones a couple weeks ago when they were this price by the same seller. Item arrived in like new condition with no scratches. They work great so far and sound so damn good. Came with the original case and cords.

The noise control gets a little glitchy in below freezing weather, as pointed out from many reviews of this product. The noise control will turn off every several minutes, requiring you to press a button on the headphone to turn it back on. Not exactly the worst thing that could happen, but could get annoying if you were hoping to wear these in cold weather a lot.

How's the mic on these now? Was looking into using these for work without having to change out headsets for calls.
Get the Sennheiser PCX 550 if you need mic performance. I needed a pair for conference calls at work and I went through about 10 headsets and if mic performance is your priority there isn't anything better. I can walk around outside downtown Chicago with the wind and traffic and the other side can hear me clearly.
The noise canceling is okay and you do hear wind noise when walking outside. As for noise canceling, I would rate them 4 out of the 10. xm3, qc35, 605n and then these.

I have the pcx550 as well. The mic performace as mentiomed is really great and they also have the ability to enable an external mic that sends audio to the headset so if you are on a flight you just double tap the right earcup and it turns it on so you can talk to people, or hear flight staff, etc.. that said I ordered these, want to check them out.

I was thinking that or people got pissed during the cold season with the touch stuff.

Called into a meeting while at the airport at my gate and they told me everything was fine. They couldn't really hear the airport background. When I talked the airport background noise was picked up but they said they still had no problem understanding me

CPSSAVE15 for 15% off the warranty offer. Got 4 years for about $25
Where did you get 4 years from? It looks like the seller is offering 1 year for that money.

Seeing the same thing here, just the 1-year squaretrade warranty offer. Important to note though that the actual Sony warranty for a new headphone is also just a 1-year limited warranty.

I have been using the second iteration of these, Sony WH1000XM2 for a Year and I Like these.

They are comparable to Bose QC25 or WQC35, for Noise Cancelling - I also have QC25, the non -wireless one.

I prefer the sound of Sony compared to Bose ( it seems it has little more emphasis on Bass) , But Both are Good, IMHO.

I had a issue with these at one time, where it used to switch off the NC Cancelling and Shut-off (to save the Battery, I suppose), if they are not connected to the Phone via Bluetooth or Physically connected to the Audio source -- I was using solely for NC on the flight and there was no way to change this default setting. Seems like they fixed this issue recently, but the Third version does not have this Issue and it seems it can be configured through the Sony App.

My 2 cents..

Email offer they sent me was from cpscentral.com. Not squaretrade.
