can you "gift" Nintendo Digital games? Sorry, I don't own Switch but friend just bought one... trying to figure out how I might be able to give it as a gift
"No. There is no way to send a gift in the Nintendo eShop (on-device or off-device).

Prepaid Nintendo eShop funds cards are available in most retailers, and may be a good option to consider. Players can use the prepaid card to to add funds to their Nintendo eShop account, to put towards future purchases."

Basically you can only give them funds for them to "buy" the game themselves.

If you're just beginning to date someone and want to know how they really are when they aren't on their best behavior, play this co-op game with them.

So the game is about more than 1 person playing cooking together? Like I pass you this and this and you put them together and cook and then deliver to the customers?

More or less. No real food delivery besides putting prepped food in the window to go out. One person cuts, another person cooks, one plates, etc.

I've been playing the first one since I found it on sale a few weeks back. It's really a fun game. Have only played 2 player so far but looking forward to adding a person or two when I have the chance.

Thanks OP but I'll wait til the next sale haha.

People joke that it can ruin relationships because you're relying on each other to cook dishes in a timed format. So there has to be a lot of coordination and sometimes it leads to yelling or getting frustrated, for example if someone has to pass you ingredients or someone lets food burn.
Ain't that the truth...my wife is the nicest person usually, but she swore at me multiple times while playing this because I missed an item or something burned. Or most commonly, when Id get run over by a car.

Super fun game though, and a great co-op overall. Probably best played by people who dont get super competitive, simply because the structure and short rounds mean its easy to ramp up to 11 pretty quick

Not nearly as fun though and less efficient because you'll have to just swap characters (for example like the indie game Trine.)

Definitely more a co-op/Party game.

Never played the first one, should I play that one first?
Definitely. If not, you will be lost in the great story that is told in these games. That's what makes them so great, is the storytelling.

Thanks to both games, 1 & 2, I've never been so more invested in these characters and their lives.

Not through the Eshop. You can however, purchase a digital code for a game through Amazon and "gift" that. Then the code could be used at a later date to download the game.

This is just food for thought, as it doesn't appear that this game (Overcooked 2) in digital is currently available on Amazon and if it was, it likely would not be at this price.

I really enjoyed it with my wife and friends, it plays up to 4 players. However, we beat everything in 1 month and haven't touched it since. Can be very frustrating when playing with people who can't keep up as well as for yourself. It can also help make your relationship better or worse if you struggle with communicating in relationships :p
Is there even any value for single players? If not, that's a pretty big nope from me.
