Buddy up or go it alone as you cook up a storm, chopping, steaming and frying your way through dynamic and outright crazy levels. Now with online multiplayer for up to four chefs, there is no such thing as too many cooks and the steaks have never been higher as you prepare to save the Onion Kingdom...again.

Good thinking since you can always trade it in. I prefer physical too, but some games are must-haves for parties. I get digital for those. 👍

As for anyone wondering the size, it's 3.7GB

It's a great game to play as a couch Co-Op(Party game) with up to I believe 4 players at the same time.

People joke that it can ruin relationships because you're relying on each other to cook dishes in a timed format. So there has to be a lot of coordination and sometimes it leads to yelling or getting frustrated, for example if someone has to pass you ingredients or someone lets food burn.

It's super fun though especially if you don't take it too seriously. It gets our competitive juices going haha

It would get more love if the physical version would go on sale for once. This deal seems to come around about once a month for digital but never for physical. Thanks for sharing though. It's a good price for digital.

I don't remember for sure, but I think people said the 2nd Overcooked (this one) is easier than the first... Supposedly decent party games, but for some reason people joke about it ruining relationships. Is this is a co-op?

Anyway, for the portability, maybe it's worth near this price. It's probably cheaper on steam though (at least with sales) if that doesn't matter

Nope. The gameplay is the same. The storyline is very basic.

I have both and I can tell you that the 1st one "feels" easier than 2nd one, because the 1st game doesn't have the "throw" mechanic like the sequel does. Having another mechanic introduced = crazier level design. Just my 2cents.

Thanks for the input. I hope to get this someday, but probably would prefer physical copy incase I don't like it

This game definitely defines who is the weakest link... when all the other three players look at you and say what happened... you sharpen up real quick.

I really enjoyed it with my wife and friends, it plays up to 4 players. However, we beat everything in 1 month and haven't touched it since. Can be very frustrating when playing with people who can't keep up as well as for yourself. It can also help make your relationship better or worse if you struggle with communicating in relationships :p
