sucks for the recent 100/100 folks. I would fight that and get the speed upgraded.

So I signed up for 100/100 last year and 1 year is up tomorrow! Can I just cancel and then sign up under this one?

TCB should be giving out a nice cashback - hopefully it stacks.

I 'moved' last summer with no contract for 100/100. No GC but was able to add the $5 Verizon's connection discount and got $80 cash back.

Note that if you use anything above 100, your router needs to support gig on the wan port - most don't. You would have to use custom firmware if you can and switch the wan port to another port...

You could 'move' - I did it last summer. Not sure if it still works. Basically, when you sign up for new service you can say existing customer is moving. That would allow you to set a up an appointment for new service - you would need to use a different email address.

Then you schedule disconnect. I'd suggest you do it for the day before. I had done it for the same day, and there were problems with activation.

They'll include the router no matter what, but you can use your own if you do internet only, and save the $10. Take it and ship it out or bring it to a store the following day.
