My closest store (Taylor, PA) showed LIMITED on Brickseek. I took a shot and it DOES show ONE on hand on their scanner but they can't find it. It showed limited a couple years ago when I found an Uncharted 4 LE fat PS4 bundle at the same store. It was buried in the back in a locked bin with a TON of dust on it. So you never know.

Brickseek is showing LIMITED to full on IN STOCK (3 or more) at limited numbers of stores.

Bloomingdale, IL store shows 3 in stock. Don't bother as I checked this same store during Christmas and it was nowhere to be found

It's maybe six months old as it released Black Friday and some retailers sold them before then like Best Buy. Like I said in the OP though I've found old stock before. It just takes being persistent.

Looked in the case? Asked the employees to check for it and gave them the UPC (listed on the BS page) to put into their inventory scanner? Because the older bundle I found was not out on the floor and it took finding an employee willing to scour the entire back room to find it for me. The kid was back there for like 25-30 minutes before he came out with the box, which was very, VERY dusty.

Every Walmart YMMV should be automatically implied as extreme YMMV. 90% of the time, the employees will refuse to even look and just claim it's stolen and inventory is off.

In the rare instances where someone actually went to look in the stockroom for me in the past when inventory shows a quantity, they have found it almost every single time.

Compared to the typical Walmart type of employee like I ran into tonight who immediately was like 'oh yeah we sold out a long time ago' without wanting to lift a finger to go check or even look on the inventory scanner you better believe it.

That kid went above and beyond and every time I saw him there when I was on what should've been a wild goose chase (60-80% success rate on these YMMV deals) he always asked me what I was there looking for. laugh out loud

Same store produced a $49 32" Samsung monitor last year and a $100 43" Samsung HDtv prior to and after the UC4 LE PS4. Although in those instances I did a buy, return and re-buy cycle to get the much lower price that store had on the items I had bought at other WM stores.Cool

Thanks OP for posting.

Its been luck and getting a good employee who can and willing to find and sell you these items. That plus your persistent on who badly you willing to risk your time and resources on chasing these items.

yes had a good employee that was willing to go take a look in the back, was probably gone for a good 20-30 mins. nothing was found. seeing that from before christmas the same 3 are still in stock, i would scratch that as stolen goods or miscount on stock on walmart's part.

I lucked out a couple days ago and found a nice old lady in the electronic area. She spent 20 mins looking for the $250 sharp 65" 4K Roku TV from another deal for me, found 7 on top of a pallet shelf behind a bunch of stuff. My friends and family bought all of them. This was after two other employees said they were all gone. Took forever to dig them out.
