Yeah...332 on Norwegian not all that great. That is flying the Spirit or Frontier of the international market. Flight well over 500 once you buy the necessary things to make it a tolerable experience. With effort and time you can still find sub 400 fares on real carriers. Also, Paris is not 40 euros for 1 burger and 1 drink. That is patently absurd.

It's not that expensive. A burger and drink isn't going to cost 40 euros unless you go to an expensive place to begin with. You can get a $40 hamburger in the states if you go to an expensive place anyway

Yeah, it's well known that French food sucks compared to English food.

Confused

Few tips for Paris. It's going to be expensive! Don't freak out when your basic burger and drink is 40 Euros. Always have an umbrella and light jacket even in the winter, you can have all 4 seasons in 1 day any time of the year. You can take a megabus that goes on a train to and from London through the English Channel (your bus goes on a train under ground).
Wow! That expensive now? I remember cutting costs by going to grocery stores and buying a baguette, cheese and cheap wine for a lunch for two.

Going in July for a third time. Save money with this tip and eat well. French food sucks anyways. Better food and value in Italy and England.

Was in Paris over New Years...first time in almost 20 years...not much has changed. Food is cheaper and better. Still possible to spend a fortune but you can do that in any major city.

You would be surprised. English food has gotten a bad rap. Gastro pubs and different cuisines such as Indian and Middle Eastern on the cheap really made the food a nice surprise. French food, in the other hand, outside of crepes, quality deli meats and baguettes, were pretty bad and and their ethic food was pretty bland.

Yeah. So much biased post. Lol

Why stop at 40 euro? I'm sure I went to a place that had 100 euro hamburger in Paris.
