I have a curved oled 55 inch which I love for movies sucks for sports like really horrible . Soccer is unwatchable it has a ton of judder with various calibration settings .Samsung is super bright can beused as an outdoor Tv. It's the best Tv for video games and sports . This or the q8 both full back lit LED.

idk, oled folks always bashing qled and i own neither so i cant say much but whenever i see these qleds next to an oled at costco bestbuy w/e, qled to my eyes always seemed better. not necessarily the picture quality itself, as oleds for sure seemed darn good, but it was more as if i was viewing a 120hz vs 60hz
that said, still waiting til i move to get one of these nicer TVs....til then, my ancient LG LCD just dont know how to break so that'll do.

Not buying a Samsung TV until they support Dolby Vision. They really have no choice not to support it or else they'll just end up shooting themselves in the foot like their 4k players.

Unlikely

Given time, dolby vision will get dropped.

Dolby vision is a couple different features, but its primary current use is dynamic metadata. This is only necessary because the brightness of current TVs do not match studio color grading monitors.

As TVs get better and (Brighter), the need for dynamic metadata is 0.

That whole advertising on 12bit is bullshit. most tvs don't even do that good a job on 10bit as it is.

Overall 8 bit is more than enough for anything <4000nit, which we wont' even see in consumer sets for the next 10 yrs.

Seller GameLiquidations only has one rating, not risking my money on this one. Would love to see this TV (75" version) in my basement for sub 3k post taxes, but this just seems too risky.

I love mine, I wish I could have got it at this price. Anyone on the fence should definitely consider it. The brightness, color and black levels are great and it has freesync for gaming. I don't have any complaints
