Agreed versus other similar deals over past few weeks, a little bit tighter timings for a few dollars less.

You could probably get better RAM for that budget but nothing wrong with that kit either

What are you looking to do with it? How important is gaming to you?

I don't mean to hijack this thread but how much $ do you need to build a decent computer that can play most of the newer games? I haven't built a computer since 5 years ago and I am a little out of loop with current systems. Thanks!

Go to PCpartpicker, start with a Ryzen 7 2700x, work from there (mobo, 16gb ram, sata SSD, case, ~650w psu) saving GPU for last. If you end up with not enough for a GPU you want you can look into picking up something used, tweak what you've picked to allocate more money for it, or decide against building a PC for $1000 right now. To keep price down you'll probably just use stock case fans for now, and stock cpu cooler. I would imagine you'll be playing 1080p Ultra, and definitely don't worry about ray tracing, that ain't happening. But I'm just some dude.
