Edit: Did some checking, superbiiz is an authorized seller of this AMD processor. AMD links to them right on their website.

Lol these guys are likely selling used products. Nowhere on the page does it mention new, and they're giving only a 30 day warranty on the item. And that's a repair or replacement warranty.
Superbiiz has been around for ages and known to be a reputable place.

Their return/warranty period is 30 days which isn't much different from other major retailers like newegg.

Just like how newegg operates. Only open-box and refurbish are stated, otherwise the product is new.

Just to follow up, the 1700X default retail package does not include a fan or heatsink. This is not something unique to this retailer.

Superbiiz is legit. I got my 1700x from MC (I know pick up only) for $140 late last year, plus discount on mobo. No HS or Fan...

When I bought a NEW 1700x from Newegg, it did not come with a heatsink. I actually don't know if I've ever seen one with a heatsink. Maybe you're confusing this for the 1700?

1700 has the fan, whereas 1700X does not have.

I like this deal (and the other one posted one for the 2700) because I'm looking for an AM4 patch upgrade, but , really turned off by the Superbiiz thing since it's somewhat of an unknown regardless of how long they have been around. On top of that, the post postings are from users that only post from a hand full (shill?) of relaters and put very minimal effort in to their copy/paste posts.

More like per the manufacturer...because that's how the product is packaged no matter who you get it from...

I've bought RAM, a cable modem, and a few other items from them over the years. The only time it's generally worthwhile purchasing from them is during these coupon sales. If you had ever shopped for computer parts when pricewatch was big, you'd be more familiar with superbiiz.

Bring back some memory with my Abit BP6 with dual celeron 300a running at 400. Super fast dual core at 1999. Good old day.

I got the Ryzen 7 1700x for $130 @ micro center last Thanksgiving plus $30 off motherboard combo. Good deal too.

I've been buying from superbiiz for over a decade. During 2012-13 I bought $7000 worth of computer parts from them. Their customer service is good, didn't have any problems with the order.
