Great phone. Got it for $139 two month ago. You can disable all Amazon apps if you want and there's no adds on the lock screen. The only issue, it's very slippery, so get some thin case like Spigen

wasn't the Android One version of this $150 at B&H not that long ago?

easily worth the extra $30 for the peace of mind that amazon has been no where near it.

No Amazon ads, but there are restrictions. Comes with bloat- some can be uninstalled, some other's disabled. However it is still running the amz os line and the bootloader is locked. I will never get another Amazon phone for those reasons, but the price is not too bad.
yeah price is solid

but i'd rather spend the extra money and avoid amazon garbage all together.

Seems like there are many moto lines out there. Anyone know of a quick chart that differentiates the various lines and models like the x4, g6, g7, e5, z3, etc.

Says every cell phone the day it is released.
Motorola actually updates their firmware though.

The camera takes good pictures but any movement makes the pictures blurry! Haven't found a solution.
That's the reason I'm not buying it. One of the main purposes of a phone is to take photos of my kids. If it can't handle low light or moving subjects, it's pretty useless.

I'll just keep my Galaxy S7, thank you very much. Besides, they're the same price now that this is and are better.

Where do you see the Galaxy S7 at this price of $120? Couldn't find it, I'd be interested if it's around that price though

I believe you may be recalling the recent Project Fi deal (with at least one month of $20 service added technically, but many folks were canceling with minimal prorated charges). Here's a link for reference Smilie https://slickdeals.net/f/12850942

I picked one up from Best Buy Saturday for $54 after tax. I got some kind of upgrade deal from Sprint and BB that knocked $100 off their $149 price. I agree...slippery phone. I got a case for it and it's great.

This one (BLU R1HD), I'm using was a "prime exclusive" 2 years ago. It's on its last leg. I'm holding outBig Grin
These have so much better reception quality... I bought BLU at some point and it had zero reception at my house. Motorolas starting from G5 (this included) hold solid two bars all day long. BLU had to go back.
