Seems like there are many moto lines out there. Anyone know of a quick chart that differentiates the various lines and models like the x4, g6, g7, e5, z3, etc.
I have G5 Plus and X4 in family. X4 has better camera and NFS. Also nicer screen (colors) and USB-C. Similar price, I would pick X4.

Must know OS alone takes about 13 GB in X4. Half of that in G5. Reception quality is equally good and is exceptional. Lot better than it was in G4. Both will work for any provider anywhere in the world.

LoL, I have a Blu R1HD a backup. Besides the crappy camera, it's awesome.

Just a word of warning - changing battery in this phone is not for the faint of heart.

Can you delete all the Amazon garbage without having to jump through hoops?
https://www.xda-developers.com/un...ot-access/ The only downside of this method is that those apps are still occupying spaces.

Where do you see the Galaxy S7 at this price of $120? Couldn't find it, I'd be interested if it's around that price though
I meant used on ebay.

This or the g6?
You can buy the G6 at $150 any day in costco. The G6 has a higher screen-to-body ratio, a faster cpu (I guess) and was released later. So I guess if you don't really need a phone right now, then wait for a little bit more.

I got the Moto x4, silver edition about 2 weeks ago during the last special. I had to wait a couple if days on the case. The "un-bustable" screen was cracked in 2 days😞. Wish I would have waited in this deal now.
It is a GREAT deal because it's an AWESOME phone. I love it cracked screen and all😁.

Have had software errors on 6 Moto phones: 3 Moto Z Forces and 3 Moto Z2 Plays. The phones would work well for 1-3 months before random shutdowns would occur. Not sure if those problems were fixed.

Is this any good to give to a kid for just everyday use for calling and texting? We just need something with easy use for a small kid, without too many extra settings, apps or possibilities to get extra carrier charges

I really don't trust Moto phones these days. I'm looking for something to replace my girl's 2nd Nexus 6. They both died in the same way and in the months leading up to it would randomly shut off and be unreliable.

They seem to be great out of the box and thats it. I'm thinkin about just finding a good deal on a Pixel 1 instead

I believe you may be recalling the recent Project Fi deal (with at least one month of $20 service added technically, but many folks were canceling with minimal prorated charges). Here's a link for reference Smilie https://slickdeals.net/f/12850942
Nope, Android One version was $130 for a short period of time at B&H, and was $150 there and at BB for at least a couple weeks. Personally I would pay the extra $10 for the Android One version if it goes on sale again. Guaranteed updates is worth it for me.

I'm sorry, I don't know why I was thinking they meant the 64GB/4GB RAM Android One version (the thread I linked) Confused
You're definitely right - we've seen a few deals for the 32GB/3GB RAM Android One model in the $150 or less range (actually Frontpaged a couple myself, such as this one Smilie ). Thanks for the heads up!

I was actually going to buy this, but then fortunately I saw that they say you can't unlock the bootloader. I had read on the Motorola site that you can unlock any of their phones' bootloader, but since Amazon says this one can't be done it's not worth the risk.

I won't buy any Android mobile that I can't wipe the OS and load an open-source ROM on it like LineageOS. Stock Android is garbage in comparison, and is a 24/7 privacy violation.
