Not a deal unless you need this exact set, like gambling on getting the two batteries and really want it from an authorized seller. The gun goes for 100 and the batteries for 50 on the bay all the time, with a coupon or patience you can do better.
More like $60/ea on the batteries. I've sold Bunches of DeWalt 5ah batteries and have used $60 as my target for the last year to compete with eBay. Sometimes I even get $65-70 if they don't try to negotiate the price.

That impact wrench currently has an active auction at $126 and the lowest buy now of $130. So $130 is going to be a pretty good lowest eBay price benchmark, unless you get really lucky.

So you could pretty easily sell the batteries and net the impact for $80(+tax on the $200). Not super amazing, but pretty decent

I am pretty skeptical that this kit will come with 2 batteries. With all due respect, any cust service person you ask is just going to look at the ad like you and give their opinion. Nobody's making a call to the warehouse/etc to verify what's in the bundle when you ask

1) The model is just a mashup of the model of the impact wrench and a single 5ah battery model 2) Everywhere in the listing indicates 1 battery except the picture 3) Read the Q&A and some asks 1 or 2 and all 3 answers say 1 battery.

That being said, HD is really great about listing errors and will take care of you. But factor in the hassle/time of likely having to contact them to get it sorted out into your purchase on this one.

Agreed, but if the stock kit comes with one battery then the battery promo should add a second one.

If you really want a impact wrench then spend $50 more to get 3 batteries, charger & bag with DCF899. Currently OOS but keep looking back as it will come back to stock.

I'm pretty sure it's a bare tool + the battery/batteries. If it were a kit you'd get a charger too though.

Bit the fact that there's a larger promo involving many items (some 1batt, some 2batt) I'd say that makes it a bit more likely you get the 2 batteries. Either way though, HD will fix it and make it right if you only get 1 battery.

That's definitely a sweet deal. If you or anyone sees it back in stock, shoot me a reply please.

Promo says until 6/30/19, so lots of time for it to potentially go back in stock but some of these HD special combos are one off and don't get restocked.

The dcf899 is a beast but it's also over 7 lbs with the battery...if you don't need the torque then lighter weight is my preference.

Look at sold auctions and factor in fees and shipping and I think you'll find my numbers are pretty accurate

Your numbers were in reference to buying, not selling, so fees are irrelevant... You don't pay fees when you buy.

Maybe you'll be able to magically find a cheaper listing/auction that just coincidentally happens to be timed with an eBay Promo to get the prices you mentioned. Then hopefully you see it before somebody else buys it. Sounds like quite a long shot to me.

But, in response to fees in relation to my numbers. I don't sell batteries on eBay, so I don't pay fees/shipping.

I wish it were the hog ring version. Having said that, the new Milwaukee M12 fuel impact wrench is a beast for it's size and weight: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../305980696

I might go with that one.

The DeWalt in this deal is 330 ft-lbs
The Milwuakee is 250 ft-lbs
