Great unit A bit better than the Cuisinart, but not as nice as breville or all clad (but a lot cheaper than either). This one is a good value

I've been waiting for this to go on sale. My 1st immersion blender.

Would the Braun 725 with the extra attachment and 1 cup container be a better value, it is on sale too.
Wondering how often I would really use those things.
If anyone uses an immersion blender and/or has attachments, I'd like to know if you think it's worth the extra $22.12

Quick answer, no. I find a dedicated chopper, like the Cuisinart mini, and a good quality hand whisk to be of better value than these attachments.

I've been looking for an immersion blender. Since someone said these are on Amazon, I went and look and saw two others, which are close to the same price as this. Are these any better than this Braun?

Mueller Austria 1 001 Ultra-Stick 500 Watt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075X1K...VCb3CCDQZM

And this one is a little bit more $

KitchenAid KHB2351CU 3-Speed Hand Blender https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005MMN...VCbP7XR2WT

I would say better to go for the most powerful motor that your budget allows.

I bought this a month ago, for $53, basically full price. Good machine for liquids and soft fruit or vegetables. This is a blender, for blending 2 or more items together - it's not for pulverizing ice or other hard items. Ask too much from it and the blade will likely fail. It's been great at blending a banana/milk/PB powder. Takes just seconds to setup, blend, and clean off.
