My first post, be gentle.

I think this is the lowest price that I've seen on SD for this monitor. It's 1440p and 120Hz. Looks pretty slick!

3440 X 1440 WQHD Resolution
4ms Response Time
178°/178° Viewing Angle
HDMI Connectivity
1000:1 Contrast Ratio
120Hz

I've had the 3440x1440 Alienware monitor since December 2018 and I absolutely love it. I don't overclock it since there are reports of flickering, but I'm more than happy gaming Battlefield 5 on Ultra with an RTX 2070 XC Ultra.

Highly recommend this.

Not here to thread crap because this is a good price for this monitor but people should know what they are getting into. This monitor would be good for someone who like to play RPGs or single player games like Tomb Raider or Assassin's Creed AND likes to maybe watch movies or Netflix. However if you are primarily going to be using this to game then you should not be looking into getting this monitor. The sheer size of the monitor makes it useless for competitive games such as Fortnite, Overwatch, League of Legends. Dota, etc. as you will miss out on details on the sides. If you fall into the gaming crowd you should be looking at something a lot smaller than this (and they will be cheaper too); 24 inches is the standard in gaming tournaments.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960

1. Is it capable of driving this monitor?
2. Is it capable of doing G sync (which I'm still trying to figure out what it is exactly)?

I'm not a hard core gamer, though I do some. But my computer and my current 28" Samsung is what I watch most of my TV & Movies on as well. I'm considering getting this as my current Samsung is about 10 years old, but not if I have to blow $300+ on a video card capable of driving it

Thanks for any FB

BestBuy will price match but you have to go into a store and show them the Costco online pricing. You will need to have access to a costco membership to login to show the sale price.
Can you confirm this? I have 2 days to return it to bestbuy but would prefer a price match. Thanks.

Disagree. I play Apex and Battlefield and both are great on it. I'd never go back to a 24" or even a 27". Once you get used to ultrawide you won't want to go back.

I also do graphic design and coding on it, so I'd argue it's great for both gaming and productivity.

I've price matched the Vizio Quantum 65" at Best Buy with Costco's price and it worked out for me.

Nope, sold out on their website but they ordered me one anyway and waited a week for delivery. This was back in November. Also depends on if you talk to someone cool at the store vs an idiot. Just sayin'.

For 100% competitive twitch gaming definitely go with a 24 inch 240hz TN monitor, its the best. But this monitor is a great "all around" monitor for any type of game. All you do is sit a little farther away than a 24inch.

Short answer is yes. However, you'll have to adjust the settings. There is an awesome Reddit post about this very question. I bought some 1080's off a Miner for 200 each to upgrade from my 960 that was having some issues pushing 1440. Anyway...

Awesome deal for an awesome monitor. Buy it with your Costco credit card and get+2 years.... Need to go check if I'm able to return mine still, lol.
