i get that you are making a joke, but no, when the alerts go off 5x on a day that i havent been home, i open the app and it shows no alerts or saved footage for that day. its firing off the same alert from numerous days ago.
Maybe you've just got a faulty one, can you not return it for replacement?

i have 3. they all used to work fine, when i first got them. now all 3 have the same issue. ive tried turning off the alerts for 2, and rotating which one sends me an alert, and each one causes the same bs. its obviously software related, but YI doesnt care. they are aware of the issue.

I have a pfsense Firewall/router (open source, free) with certificate based OpenVPN installed. I also plan on segmenting off a network specifically for my smart home that will not be accessible to my main network except through a jump host that will be off when not in use, and that jump host will be only accessible from one IP address in my home. Defense in Depth.

If you're worried about security, I suggest installing TinyCam on an old Android phone and using that to relay the camera feed to the web rather than exposing the camera itself to the outside. That way the security is handled in the TinyCam app instead of a poorly supported/patched camera.
Is there a tutorial on this
