It is probably wrong link.

Also.... Can this be paired with Google voice and not pay taxes?

Thanks - I fixed the link.

I do not think you can use this with google voice. For that, try an obi...

No one buys an OOMA these days. Everyone buys Obihai. Obihai supports google voice and provides free phone with Google Voice. You don't have to pay any monthly charges. It is totally free

Very happy with my obihai + Google voice free home phone setup. Have been using that probably for 5 years.

Agree. I've been using an obi202 with a 2-handset cordless phone on google voice, all for less than the price of this deal. Haven't paid a cent more for years.

I have been using the Ooma hub unit absolutely free for nearly nine years! Now they are messing with the Caller ID feature, by no longer providing free alpha service. Do you have caller ID alpha free with the Obihai unit? If so, it may be time to switch to the Obihai unit I bought to back up the Ooma Hub for the day it fails!

I also have had Ooma for about the same amount of time with lifetime Premier service and no fees or taxes grandfathered - just had to upgrade the hub to the Telo.. I like the online caller log and the number blocking feature.

What is alpha service and what are they doing with it?

Caller ID alpha supplies the name of the caller, or as is more common these days, the spoofed name that the caller is trying to get you to answer to. The feature is less and less useful as the national phone system is gradually succumbing to the wave of crap calls from the scum of the earth that practices this contact method. vomit

Now, Ooma is no longer supplying the name of the caller...Just the number on line one and line 2 of the caller id display! If you want to get the caller id info from Ooma, you have to pay for their upgraded service @ ~ $10.00/month! (no way hose eh!)

I still get the name displayed so it is probably included in the lifetime Ooma Premier service I bought many years ago - one of my best purchases.

With your upgraded Telo, did you just call them to upgrade? No fees also grandfathered? When did you do this? Thanks for any info, I might go this route...
