is this bulb uses 65 watts to glow or 65 watts equivalent just uses 10 or 15 watts?
Please suggest
Yes, it is just an enhanced LED, so yes, 10~15 watts.

Smart things does not automatically support groups, you might want to use a sylvania hub if you don't want to write automation for smart things.
You don't need SmartThings to use a group if you're using Alexa to control the lights. You just pair the bulbs with SmartThings hub, give them names, and then discover them through Alexa app and add the new bulbs to whatever group you want or don't, they still can be controlled by name.

And if you're only using SmartThings, you can assign them to a room or to a routine without writing automation. You can also use IFTTT for simple automation through SmartThings, doesn't require writing anything.

I might as well chime in as I'm on the Lightify hub and 42 devices.

Lightify doesn't have the best app. Sometimes lights come in without their name, you often get multiple device01s, and it's a mess. But what you do get are dynamic scenes like Clouds or Color Rotation if you want to listen to Yaz and the Plastic Population. Evening is nice.

Amazon integration isn't perfect and near as I can tell Alexa doesn't handle dynamic scenes.

Now if you DON'T have can lights Sylvania has 15 inch flush mount lights at 1400 lm at $30 each. They're not full color but they don't require cans.

Not the same bulbs as listed. These are not the color bulbs. The four pack of full color bulbs is $38.
Understood...I was replying to someone else inquiring about the 4 pack soft while bulbs that went on sale recently. Read the context...

Wow, just received my bulbs. Came faster than Amazon Prime!

Was surprised that when powering it on, it cycles through RED, BLUE, GREEN and then SOFT WHITE. Did not expect that.

I was planning on using it in a fixture where I would turn off/on the switch like normal and than use the app for color. That's not going to work if everytime I power on the blues it cycle through RGB.

Edit - forgot to mention, it's labeled as Smart+ on the bulb itself.
Edit - after pairing with SmartThings Hub, it powers on as soft white. Color is not as vibrant or saturated as Philips Hue, but that was expected.

Quality lighting came super fast and installed I have a Wink hub so it paired pretty easily. Not as fast as lifx or hue in color changing but great light quality and for 10$ each no complaint. OP

Anyone having issues pairing them with ST? I paired it and next day it is unavailable, I do it again and same thing. I have the ST version 2 hub and it is annoying to keep moving the hub close to the light to pair only to have it become unavailable again the next day. Would having the sylvania hub resolve this issue with frequent disconnects?

I got the Sylvania LED strip lights with Zigbee from a deal last week here. Using with Smartthings and Alexa, the colors of asking Alexa or the alexa, smartthings apps are way off from what I want or expect, including the purple. Using either of the Smartthings app, then select the device and click on the color spectrum thing, you can set the custom color. Then you can get a good purple or violet, dark rich blue or firery orange. It would be nice to pick a color and have it as a preset or replace the preset but dont think that's an opt.
I have already done this. Here are my results:

Dark blue (in the app) - bright blue, aqua
Red - red with a pink tone
Orange - orange
Purple - blue with a magenta tint
Green - green
Yellow - yellow with an orange tint

This is really strange. It took months to figure this out, but when these are on, if they're plugged in within 30ft of my garage, my garage door won't respond to my door opener. They create so much interference that I can't use them anywhere in my house.
