Love you. Just saying I can buy 3 pairs to your 1. But like others have said, cheapskate problems 😂😂😂
That's fine, but not everybody uses them the same or has the same expectations.

Years ago, I bought my first pair of real "premium" running shoes (Asics Nimbus) after just running in basketball or indoor soccer shoes during my teens. They were a revelation: so much more comfortable for long runs and whole days of walking around on concrete (usually on vacation).

Shortly before a trip to Chicago, I saw a deal on another pair of Asics that was something like $40 (originally around $90). I figured my Nimbuses were getting a little worn and Asics was great, so why not? After walking 12-14 miles a day, I was given a crash course in how much the top tier of a line can vary from the mid tier. Since then, I always have at least one premium pair around to use in those high-demand situations.

Now if someone doesn't encounter those situations very often or has never experienced a top-tier shoe, I'm sure seeing a $140+ price on them seems ridiculous. But I'll never go back. Of course, it helps I have regular access to the Adidas employee store (50% off all shoes, including UltraBoost).

Granted, I have never purchased or worn those shoes. But seriously, $90 for sneakers?

Even with a discount, it is outrageous.

I only size up 1/2.
Ah bummer. Need a 12 1/2 and that's one of the only sizes they don't have. Thanks for the input

100 bucks for a running shoe and this is after discount? Really?
Almost all of the premium running shoes cost $80-130. But id like to add, the ultraboosts arent really running shoes, they are lifestyle shoes that are okay at running. Lifestyle shoes can go into the hundreds with ease because the expensive ones are also fashion statements, which is why the MSRP is $180, and resell value on rare colorways goes far beyond MSRP. Its also why the less popular colorways like these, are half off MSRP, despite being identical besides color.

If youre looking for a good running shoe on the cheap, DSW, nordstrom rack, outlets, marshalls and ross, etc will likely have a good find for $40, and most brands have less premium, less fashion statement shoes for around $70

The colorways are yikes... as owner of UB, it is pretty comfortable and the newer version looks bad.

Which one is the colorways? Is this just what all UBs are called? I actually like the blue and yellow one, not sure why it needs to be discounted while most of the others are full price.

How is $90-100 good deal for sneakers?

$20 or $30 would be good deal
These are regarded as some of the most comfortable running shoes you can buy. If you wanna buy $40 kohls nike shoes that aren't comfy and give you blisters and muscle aches then go ahead.

I know nothing about these shoes. What version is this? Is this a newer or the newest version? I apologize in advance for the ignorant question....

Are these good for running? or are these just style sneakers?

I was going to get the Pegasus 35 which I have used in the past. But wanted to try these and see what the hype is about.
I'm currently running in UB. I've got 76 miles into my current pair. They're the most comfortable shoe I've run in.

Just note there is zero lateral support and I do agree that the soles don't last very long.

what I'm saying is last year I got straight from Adidas official site for $180 and got nice color ways combo way better than these. but if you dont care too much about the color ways sold here, these are very comfortable shoes but not as what claims the "world's best shoe" becuase i also owned Salomon which is a different, higher level shoe. much much comfortable, but again at a higher price point.

to those who's asking :" why do you pay over 100 for a shoe/sneaker?" - i guess you should stay with your shoe4less shit and buy manymore. this Adidas lasts long and also comfortable as heck, way worthy $100+.
