Google Express via BuyDig.com an Authorized dealer for you folks out there that demand it. Lowest price its been since Ebay's deal of the day and not much higher and not an open-box or refurbished unit.

I bought this from BestBuy last week, but will be returning now since this is $190 cheaper after tax.

Surprisingly Atmos actually works and it plays nicely with my LG OLED via ARC.

Add some context in the week I've used this...

It fits a 55in TV if exact aesthetics are important to you. I have it paired to a 65in and it looks good.

The sound is quality - the best sounding soundbar I've owned. Yes, a dedicated receiver and speaker package will likely sound better, but will be nowhere near $340 for ATMOS sound.

As for ATMOS... I'm impressed it works and functions correctly for a single soundbar. Using the built-in WebOS4.0 to watch Gaurdians of the galaxy 2 on Netflix was awesome as was the 4k Bluray of Blade Runner 2049. Sounds meant to be above your head... sounded above your head.

The rest of the forward sound stage was huge. Nope, not wide, huge. When you push this thing passed volume 16... it really kicks in and pronounces itself.

I have not experienced any of the ill temperamental effects folks and negative reviews have state, so no commentary on that.

Also, it's very low profile for the size and can fit under the IR sensor on my TV which not many soundbars can.

You dont explicitly state, but I presume your TV has 4 HDMI inputs all used by the sources mentioned? In that case the simplest solution is remove one of your devices to free up whichever HDMI input is labeled for ARC on the TV. You then connect the soundbar via HDMI to its ARC output. The 4th device you ended up removing on the TV you simply plug into the HDMI input of the soundbar. If CEC is working correctly then you won't have to change much of your work flow to control any of the devices. If its not then you'll manually use the soundbar remote to switch from ARC to the input of that 4th device. All other devices attached to the TV remain the same.

It is slightly confusing because the labeling is too minimal, but TV HDMI Out (ARC) and Soundbar HDMI Out (ARC) both act as inputs/outputs simultaneously depending on the direction of the audio source.

If you use a device that is outputting is directly connected to the TV, the TV will then pass just the audio to the soundbar via ARC. If the device is connected to the soundbar then the sound bar will pass just the video to the TV. It does this automatically all dependent on the what input of the TV you have selected.

Just to cover all bases its also a muddled issue on clarity because soundbar manufacturers usually dont make ARC an actual select-able option. They usually have buttons or a menu to choose "RCA, AUX, BT, Optical, HDMI input", but often rely on the user to leave "Optical" as the input and the TV will tell the soundbar to override and use ARC. Thats a PITA to learn if no one shows you. Also, on top of that remember that CEC control is not ARC itself. They are separate technologies that work in tandem when present, but do not signify if one exists so does the other.

EDIT: Forgot to answer the last question. You could keep all 4 devices and output with optical, but Toslink doesn't have the bandwidth to push uncompressed audio except two channel PCM. It can be used for 5.1 and 7.1 compressed audio for DTS and Dolby, but not their uncompressed HD versions. As such it also cannot carry the meta data and channels needed for ATMOS. So you'll miss out on what makes this soundbar so much fun in that regard.

All that said, realistically, this soundbar is not reference quality and you will not notice the difference between uncompressed vs compressed audio. That in no way means it sounds bad. Think of uncompressed audio as high octane gas and compressed audio as low octane. Put them both in an Acura TL and you wont really know the difference, but using higher octane fuel than what the car was designed for is only wasting your money. So don't worry about audio quality - you'd need a Ferrari of audio systems to truly benefit from HD Master audio.

$339 is a true Slick Deal for new - BuyDig "may" charge a $5.50 shipping fee if you return it because you don't like it, but if it truly has issues the return is free.

If you don't plan on using ATMOS and/or never intend to use rear speakers, you may find a 2.1 soundbar for $150 on SD to be adequate, but this thing will be future proof for many years.

Last week I bought from Best Buy with a price match from Amazon for $540.... two days later Amazon was $515 so I price matched again. Then find out that its this low. So I'm just going to wait until it comes in and return the Best Buy one, slight waste of time, but really $372 (I didn't use the promocode) is still a great price.

I believe the all-time lowest was Black Friday with code for $292, so its only $27 higher than that.

How does this compare to a SONOS system? I just got the OLED E8 TV and the sound is actually decent, but my existing surround sound system is out dated. Just looking to simplify my setup.

Also, do you get ATMOS sound via Bluetooth/optical or would it have to be HDMI?
