I'll pass pretty bad reviews and some obvious shills on walmart [walmart.com].

Received this from the last time this was on sale on woot, the fan makes an insane amount of noise. In the process of returning now, woot said no more in stock so they cant send a replacement. Think I'm gonna just wait for something better quality to pop up, maybe the gourmia ones from Costco.

I got one from the last Woot too. Mine is pretty darn quite. Especially compared to my old Faberware. It just doesn't cook as fast as the Faberware. The Gourmia one at Costco doesn't have a removable basket which I like.

I got the white one last time it was on here. Mine is extremely quiet and big enough to cook the thanksgiving turkey in! 😂

Got one from the last sale. Arrived damaged (crack in plastic on front) but it's still completely functional. You can definitely hear the fan, but it's quieter than any other appliance I have. Cooks great, and the capacity is friggin huge.

Bought when it was same price a week or so ago, also in process of returning it. Doesn't cook fast, evenly, or thoroughly...hard pass.

Yeah I don't think it's supposed to be this loud the fan is most certainly rubbing against something. Defective for sure, it feels like the fan is gonna fly out any moment. Seems like a good unit if you get a working one and woot were pretty straightforward to deal with so can't really complain too much.

I grabbed a Gourmia 6qt from Costco a few months back (on sale) and would recommend it. It's not whisper quiet, but it's not so loud you have to talk over it. My microwave vent fan is much louder. Bonus points for easy returns if needed.

That said, 7.2 qt seems desirable, but the 6qt hasn't had any capacity issues with a family of 4. I could see 7.2 qt being good for a family that eats bigger portions. BTW, the Panko Breaded Chicken (5lb bag) at Costco cooks up very nicely in the air fryer.

The issue with 7.2qt is its taller, not wider. Most stuff that I want to cook like nuggets/fries cook better when on a single layer and the huge capacity is of no use. If you cook a lot of turkeys etc then the 7.2 makes sense imo. For my use I think 6 is big enough.
